Our story so far..

Bepo is an independent brand run by husband and wife team Ben & Natalia.

Ben is a plumber and Natalia is a nursery assistant and have been chasing the Bepo dream for nine years in between full time jobs and raising three kids.

Bepo all started to help Ben's mental health as he has struggled with it most of his life & only a couple of years ago was diagnosed with adhd at 43 years of age.

Not many people would have noticed. As those that know Ben know that he loves nothing more than making people laugh, and there are always a lot of laughs.

Unfortunately though, with the highs come the lows. Depression and anxiety can cloud over at any time and swallow Ben up. We have learnt as a family that three main things have helped Ben's Mental Health apart from prescribed medication...

Focus. Talking. Helping others.

This is how Bepo was born.

We have both always loved fashion (even met when both working in designer shops in Chester!) so what better way than to get people talking about mental health through what you wear, doing good stuff wearing our stuff.

Funding this love has never been easy when you have bills to pay, 3 kids and a dog but we began with selling two beloved pairs of Adidas. Dublin and Italia and the rest is history.

We started off with tees & hoody's for both adults and kids and now have grown and have our own sustainable Made to Order Outerwear collection using unused ex mod parachutes along with festival and campsite waste and deadstock fabric.
All handmade in UK, to your measurements.
Something we are very proud of.

It's a lifestyle, a mindset and a way of life.

Wearing any form of clothing gives you a feeling, a purpose, a sense of belonging and sense of style.

We aspire for you to do good stuff wearing our stuff and to have a positive impact in your life.

These last three years has been the best yet with launching our own sustainable Outerwear range sourced, designed and made here in the UK, being part of Cheshire Fashion Week, having three pop up shops at Cheshire Oaks and working alongside Flynn's Port in the Storm Crisis Cafe. Also being part of the Future Fashion Fair in Manchester, working with Liquid Creative Agency in Liverpool and joining forces with Loanhood and being stocked at ōH Design Foundation in Chester and becoming part of ōH Collective.

We have recently worked alongside UCLAN and LJMU and are looking forward to revealing ongoing projects.
Not to mention other exciting collaborations and projects we can't wait to share with you.

Our latest collaboration with LJMU and Liverpool One was exhibited in John Lewis & we appeared on BBC1's The One Show.

We also have written a book called "Alphabet with Attitude for Big and Little Humans" which is a short, to the point reference book for any human, big or small on the day to day attitudes and mindset we feel will stand you in good stead in your future.

After years of trying to get the book into education and businesses, we are proud to say we have worked alongside Coleg Cambria delivering Bepo sessions centred around our book. More information about this can be found on our Bepo Sessions Page.

We ran a 6 week course in 2023 with Level 2 technical learners. Re worked our first book into a development and learning aid with the learners using the alphabet to approach and discuss all aspects of life and how the 100 students can reference topics and ideas that empowers their resilience, confidence, focus, commitment, communication and channel their positivity.

Bepo 2 is an unreal tool for any humans looking for inspiration in whatever they do and is now available through the website.

We have recently partnered with SEND College Petty Pool to work alongside their learners to create their own fashion brand and were completely blown away with the brand that came to life.
'All Inclusive' or in short, 'AI' was born.
The learners came up with the name, the designs, the logo, the mascot.. they cut the vinyl, pressed the prints, did the photoshoot, edited the images and launched the brand at a conference at Carden Park promoting Inclusivity in the workplace. We are immensely proud to of been part of something so important.
The brand is proudly included on our website.

In March this year we launched our first Bepo Sound System event 'Last Train Home' that was a sell out located at Space on Stanhope Street in Liverpool.
Lots of good humans, good music and good times celebrating all good stuff.

Due to the success, we did it all over again in July with 'The After Party'  back at Space in Stanhope Street and will be presenting more music events with our newly created Bepo Sound System Collective.

Never give up

We are still working our full time jobs and chasing the Bepo dream but we are true testament that if you believe in something then don't give up. EVER.

Naturally, coping with Mental Health is a constant battle but the first step is to talk about it to someone close to you or please look on our Help with Mental Health page.

You are not alone.
